Yesterday I spent the day at the Utah High School Activities Association Board of Trustees meeting discussing the needs of Utah’s high school students. Stopped by Taylorsville Mayor Kristie Overson’s open door hour to introduce myself. And then ended the day with Salt Lake County Farm Bureau’s Board of Directors talking about the needs of our local farmers (yes, there are many farms right here in the valley.) Each group has many concerns that are pressing in their communities that will come before the legislature next spring I was able to take away so much information from each.
