After a fun morning at the parade and car show, I am taking a minute to pause and think on the true meaning of this holiday. Our Founding Fathers had to have great courage to stand for the freedoms we now take for granted. Since that time many people have sacrificed their lives to defend those freedoms. It is up to each of us to uphold those freedoms, to keep them close to our hearts and defend them. One of the greatest ways we can do this is by being informed and involved in the political process. Over the upcoming months I will try to earn your votes by sharing some my feelings about this country, the state of Utah and the things I feel strongly about. But I also want to hear from you. What are the things that keep you up at night? What frustrates you? What would you like to see for Murray, Millcreek, Taylorsville? For Utah? I want to represent YOU, your family, and those things that unite us not divide us
